Since 2014, Whites have been the exclusive distributor for Oxford products here in New Zealand. They have shown impressive and consistent growth over the past 8 years. While over the ditch in Australia, Whites have had a non-exclusive distribution deal for the Oxford brand since 2019.
Replicating the impressive figures from NZ in Australia, Whites have managed to overtake other distributors and in a press release, today has been named as the exclusive distributor for the entire Australasian region.
It all began in NZ…
Whites Powersports was appointed as Oxford’s exclusive distributor for New Zealand in 2014, immediately increasing sales and market penetration. They showed impressive and consistent growth over the next 8 years, using every tool in the box and trick in the book to establish ranges of Oxford accessories, locks, luggage and apparel in as many stores as possible.
Particularly impressive was Whites’ growth of 47% in 2021, as they took full advantage of Oxford’s optional factory-direct delivery system. Reducing input costs in this way enabled maximum investment in go-to-market activities and a full order book for 2022 signals further significant expansion.
… then came Oz…
In 2019 Whites began distributing Oxford through their Australian arm, replicating their tried-and-tested formula from NZ to great effect. Within two years they had overtaken the incumbent (non-exclusive) distributor and set new sales records for the territory.
In 2022, Whites has expanded again to take every single range from Oxford’s huge offering and it was therefore with great pleasure that Oxford’s Export Director Chris Shearer shook on an exclusive distribution agreement with Whites’ CEO Kyne Larkin.
