Moto Guzzi Turns Up the Temptation With Big Savings on Stelvio and V7 Models

If you’ve been eyeing up a Moto Guzzi but waiting for a reason to make the jump, this might be it.

Moto Guzzi New Zealand has announced a nationwide promotion across selected Stelvio and V7 models, with savings of up to $4,500 and, in the case of the Stelvio, some extra tech thrown into the deal as well.

The promotion runs until 31 October 2026, or while stocks last.

And while motorcycle promotions are hardly unusual heading into the warmer months, there’s something particularly appealing about getting several thousand dollars knocked off a machine that already sits a little outside the mainstream.

Moto Guzzis have never really been about chasing spec sheets. They’re about that big transverse V-twin rocking underneath you, shaft drive, Italian styling and doing things a little differently from everyone else.

Now they’re considerably cheaper too.

Stelvio Drops to $26,990

The headline deal is on Moto Guzzi’s Stelvio, which drops from its previous $31,490 RRP to $26,990 — a saving of $4,500.

On top of that, Moto Guzzi NZ is including the radar-based Following Cruise Control (FCC) upgrade at no additional cost.

Powered by Moto Guzzi’s 1,043cc liquid-cooled Compact Block transverse V-twin, the Stelvio represents the modern side of the brand.

There’s a six-axis IMU, cornering ABS, configurable rider modes, an electrically adjustable windscreen, a 21-litre fuel tank and tubeless spoked wheels, all wrapped into a bike designed to cover serious distances.

The addition of Following Cruise Control gives the Stelvio the ability to automatically adjust its speed relative to surrounding traffic, adding another useful layer to its long-distance touring credentials.

At $26,990, the Stelvio suddenly looks like a much more serious proposition in the crowded adventure-touring market.

Big Cuts Across the V7 Range

If your idea of a Moto Guzzi is something a little more traditional, there are equally substantial savings across the V7 family.

The rather tasty V7 Stone Corsa has been reduced from $19,990 to $15,990, knocking a sizeable $4,000 off the price.

The V7 Special Edition also lands at $15,990, down from $19,290. Along with its distinctive styling, the Special Edition receives a factory-fitted Arrow exhaust system to add a little more attitude to the air-cooled V-twin package.

Then there’s the more traditionally styled V7 Special, now priced at $16,990, down from $19,490.

There is one catch with that particular deal: Moto Guzzi NZ says there are just two V7 Specials available nationwide at the promotional price.

So perhaps don’t spend three weeks thinking about that one.

Still Made in Mandello

Moto Guzzi NZ marketing manager Mathieu Day-Gillett says the promotion is an opportunity to bring more riders into a brand whose owners tend to become particularly attached to it.

“The Moto Guzzi lineup features some of the most characterful bikes out there, and owners rarely move away from the Moto Guzzi experience.

“Now, with up to $4,500 off the recommended retail price on selected models, it’s more affordable than ever to join the storied Italian brand where all bikes are still manufactured in the original factory on the shores of Lake Como in northern Italy.”

That history remains a big part of the appeal.

Moto Guzzi was founded in 1921 and continues to manufacture motorcycles at Mandello del Lario, with the transverse V-twin remaining one of the most instantly recognisable engine layouts in motorcycling.

More than a century later, Guzzi is still doing things its own way.

And for the next couple of months, getting your hands on one costs quite a bit less.

The offers apply to qualifying private purchases through participating authorised Moto Guzzi dealers, with motorcycles required to be registered during the promotional period. Stock is limited and the campaign finishes on 31 October 2026.
