Hamilton Harley-Davidson dealer wins 2nd year in a row.

Hamiltons Road and Sport Harley-Davidson son has been named Overall Harley-Davidson dealer of the year for the second year running.

For the second year running, the Hamilton based, family run dealership, owned and operated by Barry and Shelley Sproule, was recently awarded the prestigious award during a virtual award ceremony with the Harley-Davidson ANZ Dealer Network.

Owners Barry and Shelley Sproule said of the win, “We are thrilled to be recognised as Dealer of the Year for a second year running. We take huge pride in what we do and along with our dedicated team we all have a huge passion for the Harley-Davidson brand.”

Road and Sport commenced Harley-Davidson operations in 1990 and has been proudly serving the local motorcycle community in Hamilton and surrounds for more than thirty years.

Alongside Dealer of the Year, other 2021 category winners were:

Large Category - Gasoline Alley Harley-Davidson (QLD)

Medium Category - Harley Heaven Adelaide (SA)

Small Category - Richardson's Harley-Davidson (Tasmania)

Overall Winner - Road and Sport Harley-Davidson (NZ)

The Harley-Davidson ANZ Dealer of the Year (DOTY) rewards excellence across all areas of dealership operations. Dealers are assessed across a strict criterion including:

  • Customer satisfaction
  • Business reporting
  • Marketing and events
  • Commitment to training
  • Sales, service, parts, accessories, and general merchandise performance

The ANZ Dealer of the Year receives a $20,000 AUD contribution towards their business.
