Woodville Lions Coast To Coast Ride Postponed

The Woodville Lions Coast to Coast sponsored by Suzuki is a staple of the early summer riding season. Starting in Himatangi on the West coast of the lower North Island, heading through Palmerston North and on to Woodville for the Christmas Parade and lunch, then finishing at Akitio on the east coast, it's an annual ride not to be missed, raising money for the Palmerston North Rescue Helicopter.

Unfortunately, the 2021 event has been postponed due to uncertainty with the COVID-19 alert levels.
A press release sent out on Tuesday morning reads "We are very disappointed to announce that the 2021 Coast to Coast motorcycle ride will not be held on Saturday 11th December. Current Covid restrictions make it too difficult to hold. The Woodville Christmas parade has also been canceled.
It is possible we may be able to hold the ride in the New Year if we are back at level 1, but will keep you posted on that.
